Medically Reviewed By badge

Approved: the compact pill, built inside the byline and shown only on articles with a medical reviewer. Wired to George Bugarinovic, M.D. with his real headshot and credentials. The demo page also shows two earlier explorations (full card, hero stamp) that are not proceeding.

Dark blue credential hero · "Medical Reviewer" stamp · credentials and expertise · list of articles reviewed. This is where the badge links to. Built to the same spec as the author page; no separate visual preview — see the author page for the layout.

Changes from Lawson's April feedback rounds (approved)

  • Brand color lean-in: Dark sections now use Outset Dark Blue #001e3c (not near-black). Featured press publication panel swapped to Turquoise. Closing CTAs get a subtle turquoise glow accent.
  • Testimonials CTA: "Your future starts here" (was "Your story starts here").
  • Byline credentials: Variant 1 now has a dedicated credentials line under the name ("Executive Director · Outset", or for medical authors, "Anesthesiologist at Harvard Medical School"). Makes author authority visible at a glance.
  • MRB badge variant 1: Added a green-check circle before the "Medically Reviewed By" label text.
  • MRB badge variant 2 (pill) — the approved one: Upgraded for stronger authority — Dark Blue background, white text, white circle with green checkmark (Trustpilot green #00b67a), title-case label, subtle shadow.
  • Inline badge in byline variant 3: Matched to the new MRB pill style for consistency.

Open items — decisions needed

  • Publication logos — 3 of 5 now in place (TeenLife, Lumière Education, Trustpilot), sourced from each publication's own brand assets. CampSearch stays as a text credit for now (their only logo has a photo baked into it and doesn't hold up small) — worth asking them for a plain wordmark.
  • Vanderbilt logo — needs their written permission, and I'd recommend against it. Vanderbilt's published policy prohibits outside organisations from using their logo in a way that implies endorsement, and says even suppliers naming them as a client must do so in text only. Since Outset runs a program on their campus, their logo in this strip could easily read as "Vanderbilt backs this". The text credit is safe and needs no approval. Happy to help request permission if you want the logo.
  • College Transitions card pulled. The claim that Outset appears in their "2026 Best Summer Programs" round-up could not be substantiated — Outset is not on that list. Removed from the press page pending a source that does list Outset.
  • Trustpilot and RealReviews figures — written in April, not re-checked since. Please confirm the current rating, review count and five-star percentage.
  • Medical reviewer name in the badge — "Dr. Bugarinovic" (needs a short display-name field) or the full "George Bugarinovic, M.D."?
  • "As Seen In & Reviewed By" heading — TeenLife and CampSearch list Outset rather than review it, and the Vanderbilt piece is a listing too. Should this read "As Seen In & Listed By" instead?
  • Is press@joinoutset.com a live mailbox? It is the CTA on the press page.
